FAQs: How does a beer subscription work
There are so many fun and gift subscriptions out there, but we believe a beer club must be one of the most useful.
No need to lug a case of beer home from the supermarket every month, discover new breweries and beers without leaving your sofa and more importantly, a well stocked beer cellar for your friends to envy.
Before you go head with the UK's best beer subscription, you may have some questions, so we've tried to answer them below. Get in touch if you need any more info.
- What type of beer club is best for me?
First, choose how many beers you'd like to receive 6 or 12
Then think about the frequency. We send either 6 or 12 monthly or quarterly

By far, it is our Beer for a Year club. It outsells all others put together.
The Beer for a Year club allows you to choose the dates you'd like it to arrive. So you can cover 4 gifts in one purchase
3. How do I know the beer will be good and to my taste?
We are independently rated 4.8/5 on product quality. We have different styles for you to choose from. However, most people choose mixed and if there is a particular beer style you don't want to receive, just let us know,
4. What will be received in the first case?
As well as the beer, you will receive a glass, a brochure with tasting notes, pub quiz and explanation of how the club works. We also include a card with the dates the next cases will arrive, how to amend the dates or address and how to get in touch with us.
5. What if I choose dates that need to be changed or I move house?
Log into your account, reschedule, skip or amend your club. Alternatively, just get in touch with us clubs@bestofbritishbeer.co.uk and we'll change it.
6. Where do you ship your monthly beer cases?
UK Mainland. We can ship to highlands and Islands but unfortunately we need to pass on the additional delivery charges we receive from our courier.
7. Can I include a gift card in my monthly beer club?
Absolutely. Just let us know what you'd like to say. You can add this at the checkout
8. How long does it take to receive the first case?
We ship within 1-2 days or same day ( Mon - Fri) unless you ask us to delay til a later date.
9. How do you select the breweries?
We're always on the lookout for new breweries to feature. We need to find around 9-10 new breweries a month. Often we love the entire range of a breweries beer so they may feature 2 or 3 from their range but always in different months. You will not have a repeat of any beers in your club whether you join for 3 months or 1 year.
10. What's the minimum no of months you can join the beer club for?
We say 3 months, however, if you sign up to a pay monthly and you decide after one month you'd rather not continue, just let us know. There is no obligation.
11. Can I change the beer styles through the membership.
Yes, this is quite popular. Pale and golden in summer and then changing to dark in the winter months.
12. This all sounds great. Why haven't I joined before?
